Irene Gelfman is the General Curator of Pinta Art. Additionally, she is in charge of directing special projects aimed at further expanding Latin American art, fostering the presence of contemporary Latin American art both locally and internationally, with the ultimate goal of giving visibility to emerging and established Latin American artists.

At Pinta PArC 2024, Irene Gelfman directed the Video Project.

Special Project - Tribute Artist is an initiative that takes place at Casa Prado and allows for a deeper exploration of the study and legacy of a prominent artist from the Latin American sphere.

In this edition, the honored artist was the Peruvian Jorge Eduardo Eielson (1924 - 2006).

RADAR Curator

From the RADAR Section, the aim is to highlight a set of artistic productions that, through various languages and mediums, focus on the ability of art to reeducate our perception regarding our environment, sensitize us regarding the care of natural resources, and prioritize ancestral practices and knowledge in the face of the imminent crisis of habitability on our planet.

Curator of NEXT

The NEXT Section renews its commitment to making visible the work of emerging artists through sustained collaboration with six galleries that represent the diverse artistic scenes of Latin America and its diaspora. These six spaces have been chosen for their drive to renew contemporary gallery practices, creatively adapting to the complex conditions of the Latin American context.

Foro and Special Project Curator

FORO will be the starting point to establish exchanges that contribute to the strengthening of dialogue and collaboration networks for contemporary Latin American visual arts.

Special Project encourages the realization of site-specific projects that can co-exist with the architecture of Casa Prado's hall, which, due to its stylistic and spatial characteristics, allows artists to delve into different artistic languages and formats.

Sculpture Garden Curator

The Sculpture Garden brings together the work of artists who reflect on the relationships between open space, nature, landscape and architecture. The section opens up to an imaginative and interactive dialogue between the artistic proposals and the spatial features of the venue, presented in the front garden of the Casa Prado.
