Pinta PArC - Perú Arte Contemporáneo - is the Pinta fair in Lima. With 10 years of experience, PArC was established as one of the most relevant cultural platforms in Peru. Always accompanied by esteemed curators, interdisciplinary teams and an international audience, the fair is an annual landmark and a key meeting point in the Hispanic artworld. Pinta PArC exhibits and promotes the art of the region, cultural exchange and the promotion of emerging arts.
Bienvenidos a Pinta PArC, donde podrán visitar más de 45 galerías internacionales, que representan a artistas de todo el mundo. Podrán explorar las diferentes secciones de la feria: Sección Principal, Solo DUO Projects, Next y Arte Textil.
In its 10th anniversary, the main section of the fair is made up of more than forty galleries from around the world. They were selected for the quality of their artists and the novelty of the presented projects. This year more than 200 artists from the region will participate, in this way promoting and exhibiting the quality of artistic production in Latin America.
Solo Duo Projects seeks to highlight the production of contemporary artists, delving into the work of one or two artists selected by each gallery. It is the perfect opportunity for visitors to engage more deeply and personally with the artists.
NEXT proposes the display of emerging galleries selected for their relevance within the contemporary scene of their regions.
Produced by Verónica Santalla, Media Point proposes face-to-face and virtual content to learn, rethink, and debate about contemporary artistic practices. Its programming includes: Forum, auditorium cycles organized by invited curators; Open Files, videos focused on artists and details of their works; Live Talks, virtual and face-to-face talks on topics of interest; Guided Tours of the fairs by invited experts; and Masterclass, virtual and with specialists in each field of contemporary art.
Video Project seeks innovative and immersive proposals that work with the moving image. On this occasion, the theme revolves around the posthuman, the environment and the relationship between humans and nature.
The Sculpture Garden brings together the work of young artists who reflect on the relationships between open space, nature, landscape and architecture, as a response to the same spatial characteristics of the section, presented in the front garden of the Casa Prado.
As a sign of support and encouragement, Pinta PArC highlights the work of the AMANO Museum and its collection of Pre-Columbian Textile Art.
The contemporary art section of the Amazonía exhibits renowned artists from indigenous peoples.
What the eyes do not see
This section deals with the multiverse inhabited by beings that protect nature, guardian spirits that protect it from being depredated by men. They cannot be seen with the naked eye, but they manifest in different ways, interacting with people to maintain the necessary balance for life.
With an experience of more than fifteen years bringing Latin American art to the world, we unify our art and photography fairs, and our cooperation and integration programs, under the Pinta brand; renewing our purpose of highlighting and enhancing the talent of emerging and established artists linked to the region.
This year’s edition of Pinta PArC will provide a stronger emphasis to Next and Solo Projects. Working with esteemed curators Oscar Roldán and Florencia Portocarrero, these two sections will highlight the individual voices of artists who inspire courage and originality.
As part of Pinta PArC’s online affair, and transcending borders of all kinds, Pinta hosts Media Point, produced by Vero Santalla. It is a digital section with unique audiovisual content: talks with experts (LiveTalks, curated by Miguel López), insights on the artists’ work (OpenFile) and custom Live Virtual Tours.
Lima offers an opportunity to visit the different institutions, ICPNA (Peruvian North American Cultural Institute), MALI (Lima Art Museum), MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art), MATE (Mario Testino Museum), Pedro de Osma Museum, LARCO Museum and AMANO Museum, ( Pre-Columbian Textile Museum) and to be able to enjoy the contemporary local and international scene.
The institutions offer special exhibitions that coincide with the PArC Art fair.
