Produced by Verónica Santalla, Media Point proposes face-to-face and virtual content to learn, rethink, and debate about contemporary artistic practices. Its programming includes: Forum, auditorium cycles organized by invited curators; Open Files, videos focused on artists and details of their works; Live Talks, virtual and face-to-face talks on topics of interest; Guided Tours of the fairs by invited experts; and Masterclass, virtual and with specialists in each field of contemporary art.
The aim of Media Point is to bring together curators, artists, collectors, gallery owners and professionals linked to the field of contemporary art in dialogue to broaden the perspective on artistic production, the art market, the role of collecting and new technologies.
This Forum is proposed as an international platform for meeting and debating on the changing dynamics of artistic production, art history, research, museums and collecting in Latin America in recent decades. With a group of guests from various countries in the region, the aim is to build a constellation of critical perspectives that allow us to understand and rethink some of the most important initiatives that contemporary art has been developing.
